We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced GIS Analyst with expertise in Esri’s Roads & Highways to join our dynamic team on a one-year remote contract basis. This role is pivotal in enhancing our GIS analytic processes and contributing to innovative technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced GIS analytic processes, including change detection and geo-processing workflows.
- Maintain roadway centerline and linear referenced data through Esri Roads & Highways.
- Develop and execute complex queries or scripts to facilitate data analysis.
- Utilize GIS best practices for efficient management of GIS layers.
- Create and document workflows, standards, and best practices.
- Develop comprehensive test plans for various levels of system testing.
- Schedule and coordinate project deliverables with team members.
- Provide application support by developing clear instructions for end users.
- Extensive experience with Esri’s Roads & Highways.
- Proficient in GIS analysis using the Esri suite of products.
- Strong background in linear referencing systems.
- In-depth knowledge of GIS principles, theories, and practices.
- Demonstrated capability in developing complex analysis procedures and systems integration.
- Experience in troubleshooting and providing customer support.
- Familiarity with large relational databases.
- Ability to integrate and implement complex technological solutions.
- Advanced experience in GIS analysis, with a focus on Esri’s Roads & Highways.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in GIS analysis and application development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
