Key Responsibilities
- Assess and identify security vulnerabilities within the CWIS.
- Implement effective security controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Secure containerized environments and integrate security measures into workflows.
- Design and configure network security within a data center setting.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Profound knowledge of security principles, including secure coding practices and vulnerability management.
- Extensive experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes (preferably Redhat OpenShift).
- Proven track record of securing containerized environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS) and experience in implementing necessary controls.
- Strong understanding of the OSI networking model and hands-on experience with network security configurations across layers 3, 4, and 7.
- Significant experience in IT security architecture, particularly in the context of containerization technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or AWS Certified Security Specialty are highly desirable.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
