We are seeking a skilled SQA Software Tester to join our team on a one-year remote contract basis. The successful candidate will be integral to the NCCRIS project at NCDIT-Transportation, contributing to the enhancement of software quality through comprehensive testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform both manual and automated testing of software applications involved in the NCCRIS project.
- Collaborate with application development teams to ensure thorough quality assurance throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Conduct various testing types, including Unit Testing, System Testing (both Manual and Automated), Component Integration, System Integration, Regression Testing, Performance Testing, and Disaster Recovery Testing.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with VB scripting to create and modify test case code.
- At least 5 years of experience with Automated Testing tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Cypress, or Selenium, along with familiarity in using Jira and OpenText ALM.
- Proven expertise in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
