Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive business analysis and solution design to enhance NCDOT's operational processes.
- Define and prioritize SharePoint and web-based projects aimed at delivering effective content management and process support.
- Decompose project designs into manageable work items, ensuring clear tracking of status and dependencies while maintaining communication with stakeholders.
- Execute quality assurance testing, overseeing validation and rollout processes to ensure customer readiness and satisfaction.
- Mentor and guide a team of business analysts, fostering professional development and collaboration.
- Develop and deliver training materials that align with re-engineered business processes and IT applications.
- Document project and program deliverables with precision.
- Collaborate with clients to implement improved business processes and conduct testing for SharePoint and web-based deliverables.
- Maintain quality control for all deliverables associated with the program and projects.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Business Analyst or Product Specialist role.
- Proficiency in Quality Assurance testing methodologies.
- Extensive knowledge of NCDOT business processes and practices.
- Demonstrated experience in SharePoint design, including working with Microsoft SharePoint lists, libraries, and content types.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Outstanding organizational and presentation skills.
- Comprehensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Proven track record in evaluating and re-engineering business processes.
- Ability to create clear and concise technical training materials and user documentation.
- Familiarity with the application development life cycle.
- Extensive experience utilizing Microsoft SharePoint as a designer.
- Strong adherence to AGILE development practices, along with a CSPO Certification.
- Experience with the Azure DevOps tool suite and Balsamiq is advantageous.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Professional certification (CSPO) is preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis and SharePoint solutions design.
