We are currently hiring for a Full-Time RN Staff Health Nurse & Education Coordinator .

Essential Job Functions Include :

• Perform pre-employment health screens and PPD administration for all staff members.
• Advocate and encourage preventative health care programs for all staff.
• Follow up with workers’ compensation and disability personnel to assess staff members' status and health condition as needed. Handle all workers’ compensation paperwork.
• Update and administer mandated vaccines as per state / federal guidelines to staff members on an annual and as-needed basis.
• Promote staff retention through assessment, intervention, evaluation, and follow-up of staff members’ health and well-being in a caring, supportive, and confidential manner.
• Prepare and maintain a general orientation program for all new staff.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement all clinical and non-clinical annual education.
• Develop training resources including user-friendly multi-media materials and presentations.
• Re-educate staff following breaks in care plans, incidents requiring customer service improvements, or violations of the Homes' Standards of Conduct.
• Work closely with Infection Preventionist
• Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Director of Human Resources.
