Essential Job Functions Include:
- Proven leader in problem solving and operations. Serving as a professional role model.
- Assisting with Resident assessments.
- Making rounds as needed.
- Coordinating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and pharmacies as needed.
- Providing leadership to household nurses and nurse aides.
- Maintaining household census sheet.
- Assist with staff education as appropriate.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
Requirements:
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Qualifications:
- Be available for Evening supervision, weekends and Holidays.
- Subject to frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions (reasonable accommodation may apply.)
- Must be able to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with Residents, staff, visitors, volunteers, government agencies/personnel, etc. under all conditions and circumstances.
