Essential Job Functions Include:
- Make rounds on the units and be highly visible on the households.
- Day Supervision in building
- Work closely with DON and ADON- Duties as assigned
- Develops and maintains a good rapport with Residents and their families/guests.
- Serves as a professional role model - providing leadership, support, and guidance.
- Ensures Fairport Rehab and Nursing Center policies are followed.
- Works flexible hours and shifts to meet 24-hour accountability and responsibilities. Assumes on-call responsibilities with other members of FRNC leadership team.
- Provided Infection Control Support.
- Assists the nursing team as needed based on staffing needs.
- Develops and maintains a good working rapport with interdepartmental personnel to ensure that the needs of Residents are met.
- Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices
- Additional duties as assigned by the (department lead)
- NYS Licensed Registered Nurse Required
- Infection Control Certified and Infection Control experience preferred.
- Experience in a geriatric setting preferred.
- Supervisory Experience preferred.
- Must possess critical thinking and organization skills.
- Must be compassionate and emotionally stable to handle difficult situations at times with Residents.
- Must be able to advocate for seniors and families, as well as effectively communicate with them.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions (reasonable accommodation may apply.)
- Must be able to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with Residents, staff, visitors, volunteers, government agencies/personnel, etc. under all conditions and circumstances.

Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
