What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expanded Functions Dental Assistant position at Fairview Family Dental?
We are looking for an expanded dental assistant with at least 1 year experience. We are a fun multi doctor practice with room to grow. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Utilize dental terminology and knowledge of anatomy to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
- Operate 3D scanners and manage X-ray equipment while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation within EMR systems.
- Perform tasks related to general dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Support pediatric dentistry practices as needed, demonstrating compassion and understanding towards young patients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
