Our M Health Fairview Home Medical Equipment Burnsville Showroom is located in the Fairview Ridges Specialty Care Center at 14101 Fairview Drive, Suite 270, Burnsville, MN.
This opportunity is a benefit eligible, 1.0 FTE commitment (80 hours over 2 weeks). The schedule is day shift only and weekday only. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 403b Retirement Savings plan, and more! We encourage staff development and support!
Responsibilities Job Description
The DME Service Coordinator ensures processes are in place to support an exceptional customer service experience, high quality therapeutic equipment is available and easy to understand and use, and DME equipment and processes are effectively integrated into business and clinical operations. This position coordinates care protocols and DME set-ups for Home Medical Equipment patients.
All training will be provided if needed to include patient care, insurance guidelines and documentation requirements.
Additional responsibilities involve:
- Developing, implementing, and handling inventory control processes
- Ensuring patient care needs are served in a timely manner
- Setting up equipment and delivering quality education
- Coordinating equipment data management and analysis efficiently
- Providing timely and accurate compliance information to providers
- Facilitating effective claim processing
- Assist patients in the showroom
- Other assigned DME duties
Qualifications
Required:
- 2 years of customer service experience
- BLS Certification (or required to possess within 2 months from hire date)
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare or similar work experience
- 2 years in a direct patient care setting
- Experience fitting DME equipment
