Fairview Health Services is looking for a Laboratory Staffing Coordinator at M Health Fairview Clinic - Brooklyn Park. This position 90% remote with expected time onsite for meetings and workshops 1-2 times per month. Time onsite will rotate among different MHealth Fairview Clinic and Hospital locations. This is a full time, day shift opening with hours of 800am-430pm Monday -Friday. This position does not currently have a weekend shift, however it may in the future.
This position is to help support the staffing needs for MHealth Fairview Clinic Laboratories and hospital locations as needed utlizing the UKG EZ Call application.

Responsibilities Job Description
The Laboratory Staffing Coordinator plays an important role in scheduling and deploying staff to meet the daily patient care needs of assigned laboratories. This job requires the ability to handle multiple, conflicting priorities. The ability to multi-task, organize work and communicate in a clear, consistent, and open style is critical for success in this position.
Job Expectations include:
- Provides daily staffing support
- Responsible for processing and managing all staffing requests for time off and other scheduling revisions, updating timekeeping system as needed.
- Tracks and provides staffing information to leaders regarding:
- Understands staffing systems and how it is used to create monthly staff schedules timely and accurately for assigned laboratories.
- Collaborates with laboratory leadership to ensure staff is compliant with regulatory and competency requirements and information is included in scheduling system as appropriate.
- Assists laboratory leadership in competency management.
- Leads efforts to fully utilize and optimize technical aspects of staffing tools
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience: One year of experience in staffing or scheduling
Preferred
- Education: Associate Degree
- Experience: Two years of experience in staffing or scheduling, Experience with Kronos timekeeping
- Experience with UKG MyTime and/or EZ Call application.
