Fairview Range is hiring a Medical Lab Technician for our Laboratory Services Department in Hibbing, MN!
As a MLT you will perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more functional laboratory sections. The MLT also maintains records of performance as defined in the laboratory's general and sectional policy and procedure manual.
Joining the hospital lab as a Medical Lab Technician means providing 24 / 7 support for Fairview Range Medical Center and the Fairview Mesaba Clinics. We are a CAP accredited, highly sophisticated lab with a fully functional microbiology lab including molecular testing and have on-site pathology support. We’re proud to offer a collaboration with the M Health Fairview laboratory systems, which allows our patients local access to a more extensive array of lab services. Schedule : This position will work 72-80 hours per two weeks. The shift length will be 8-hour and 12-hour shifts. Shifts will include Days, Evenings, Nights, and every other weekend.

- Lab consists of chemistry, urinalysis, hematology, coagulation, transfusion medicine including antibody identification, microbiology, histology, cytology, and pathology.
- Part of multidisciplinary care team supporting each inpatient department.
- Lab staff include MLS / MT, HT, MLT, and LCT as well as tech specialists in various lab sections.
