With a focus on comprehensive care, you'll support our interdependent team, performing tasks such as vital sign checks, bladder scanning, blood sugar testing, and documentation of cares provided. You'll also report patient care data and progress of outcomes to designated RNs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
">- To support the nursing vision, demonstrate dedication to Fairview's universal guiding principles.
- To ensure effective communication among patients, families, and healthcare team members, reinforce patient education as advised by clinical staff.
- Accurately document patient information in electronic systems.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Required Qualifications:
">- Completion of Fairview's OnTrack Nursing Assistant training program or another sponsored program.
- Direct care experience in long-term, home care, or acute care settings, preferably with med-surg experience.
- Enrollment in an LPN, RN, or Nurse Practitioner program with clinical rotation completion.
- Certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry (optional).
- BLS certification for OnTrack participants.
