Responsibilities Job Description

Fairview is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to work in our Woodwinds Hospital located in Woodbury, MN! The schedule for this position has guaranteed 26 hours over a 2 week period. Although this position is not benefit eligible, it is still an outstanding opportunity to work with a well known company!

 

Summary: To prepare food according to guidelines, serve and ring customers up in cafeteria, stock supplies, provide service to all customers and/or perform tasks that relate to food preparation, sanitation and service.

 

Schedule:

Week 1-

Tuesday- 330PM-730PM

Thursday- 330PM-730PM

Friday- 330PM-730PM

 

Week 2-

Monday- 330PM-730PM

Saturday- 330PM-730PM

Sunday- 330PM-730PM

• Maintains knowledge of, and follows, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards
• Prepares food in an efficient, safe and timely manner according to department service times and schedules,  using standardized recipes and following proper techniques  
• Covers, labels, dates and rotates all food prior to storing to ensure department and regulatory agency standards are met
• Washes dishes and/or pots and pans according to established procedures and time frames
• Practices proper infection control methods including hand-washing, personal hygiene and infection control policies
• Performs a variety of cafeteria duties which may include serving food, using portion control and cashier operation    

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• No experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Actively pursing a high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Desired Skills:

• Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment; familiar with cleaning products, chemicals, and safety procedures
• Integration of activities, structures, and responsibilities so that resources are used most effectively to meet objectives
• Skilled in developing effective rapport with customers, co-workers, or families, actively listening to develop a positive connection

Qualifications

$20.42-$28.82 / Hourly
