Patch and Paint interior and exterior of the facilities in a craftsman like manner.
Maintain database of interior and exterior finishes. Maintain stock of interior & exterior finishes including, but not limited to paints, stains, wall covering, flooring, tools and equipment. Prioritize and manage workload, effectively communicate with management, and key stakeholders both written & orally.
Responsibilities Job Description
- Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
- Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
- Orders paint and fabric supplies for general maintenance by completing work requests.
- Receives estimates on materials and labor and assist reviewing invoices and records as needed.
- Strips and refinishes wooden and steel assets (desks, tables, chairs) according to accepted application guidelines.
- Provides information to departments regarding color selection, quality, quantity and cost of paints, stains, and wall coverings.
- Stores, handles, and disposes of hazardous materials according to established procedure, observing all safety precautions.
- Applies wall coverings (wallpaper, plastic boards, etc.). Maintains records of all paints and wall coverings applied throughout the facilities.
- Communicates with departments on the coordination of work.
- Able to lift 75 lbs.
- Able to utilize Microsoft Office, Excel, Teams, CMMS & other company issued software and equipment
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- Three or more years practical on the job experience
- Valid driver’s license
PREFERRED
- Post Apprenticeship Program
- Five or more years practical on the job experience
