Physical Therapist - Pelvic Health

We are seeking a physical therapist to join our collaborative rehab team at M Health Fairview Blaine Clinic! The physical therapist will provide outpatient pelvic health services and preferred candidate will have experience in providing interventions for pelvic health populations. Within pelvic health, the ability to provide female, male, and gender-affirming care is ideal. Where training and experience is limited, M Health Fairview offers mentoring and development opportunities for professional growth. 

• FTE 0.75, authorized to work 60 hours per pay period.
• Schedule: Mondays required. Prefer Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 10-hour days; or three, 8-hour days and a 5-hour day.

M Health Fairview Rehabilitation offers a broad range of services that serve patients across 10 acute-care hospitals, three post-acute settings and 70 outpatient adult and pediatric therapy clinics. Consisting of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy as well as Audiology and Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab, our therapists collaborate with colleagues in all medical settings and offer dozens of specialty programs.

Rehab’s continuing education program offers 40 continuing education courses per year at no cost to employees and further supports numerous external CE courses each year.

The physical therapist partners with the patient and their families while performing evaluation and re-evaluation

Develop an individualized plan of care through coordination

Capture and apply pertinent data, performs examination, and resolves treatment diagnosis

Analyze data to identify needs and potential risks, settles prognosis for recovery, and establishes individualized goals

Implements and modifies care plan based on reassessment and patient response

Coordinates care and communicates effectively with interdisciplinary team for all aspects care & establishes appropriate discharge plan

Partners care team to provide skilled intervention

Implements and alters treatment to reflect change in patient status and response to treatment

Assesses patient and/or caregiver learning needs and provides appropriate education

Documentation/Billing

Uses acceptable medical terminology and follows professional practice standards.

Completes documentation in a timely manner per department standards

Stays in sync with department billing standards

Professional Expectations

Prioritizes tasks and patient care for effective time management.

Understands and follows professional licensure/certification requirements

Advises team members and/or supervises students as designated

Pursues professional development to support clinical standard processes

Quality Improvement

Crafting and implementing improvements, and participates in and supports entity/system initiatives

Required 

Physical Therapy registration/licensure in the state of Minnesota or temporary license in MN
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred 

Experience treating Pelvic Health

Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
1 year of physical therapy experience

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
