Overview
Responsible for leading and implementing significant operational projects and changes across Fairview sites, as advised by designated Supply Chain Leadership. Requires ability to plan, lead and implement initiatives independently. Will involve interacting and influencing various staff, department leads and other key customers to advance key initiatives. Actively participates in department budgeting and goal setting process. Serves as supply chain subject matter expert on surgical / medical supplies and equipment, Lean Six Sigma, inventory optimization, project conversions, construction projects, product failures / recalls, and performance excellence. Recommends and implements opportunities for improvements in customer service, cost reductions, operational processes. Seeks out continuous operational improvements to reduce cost and improve customer service levels.

Responsibilities Job Description
- Leads planning, development and implementation of major work initiatives. Develops work plan including identification of phases, tasks, sequence, duration. Assists to identify key outcomes and how they will be measured. Reviews plan on regular basis and adjust as needed. Identifies customers and their “critical to quality” requirements.
- Leads plan execution. Implements the work processes and directs participants. Identifies, communicates, tracks and resolves issues. Effectively coordinates activities and communication with identified team members and key customers
- Monitors Project Resources. Identifies resources needed for planning and implementation. Manages costs to ensure efficient use of resources. Tracks resource performance to make sure project goals are met
- Manages Project Communications. Updates work plan and provide regular follow up to workgroup members. Reports on performance relative to work plan. Develop and deliver communication plans as appropriate.
- Provides support to Director and Managers related to successful completion of initiative objectives. Work in tandem with respective leaders regarding specific key projects / initiatives. Identifies key outcomes and how they will be measured. Reviews plan on regular basis and adjust as needed. Identifies customers and their “critical to quality” requirements. Develop and Implement work processes

Qualifications
EDUCATION : Bachelor's of Arts or Bachelor's of Science degree or six years directly applicable work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE :
Minimum - 1-2 years healthcare project management experience and facilitating complex projects. Or 3-5 years experience in non-healthcare project management
Preferred - 5 years healthcare project management experience and facilitating complex issues or 10 years project management in non-healthcare setting (e.g., IT projects familiarity)
