Fairview Health Services is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team at our M Health Fairview Lake's Hospital in Wyoming, MN!

- Serving patients of all ages and cases including general surgery, orthopedic, podiatry, spine, OB/GYN, urology, ENT, ophthalmology and endoscopy.
- Averages 20 OR cases and 10-30 Endoscopy cases a day

- Endoscopy/GI department has 2 procedure rooms to serve both outpatients and inpatients for colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and EGD procedures.
Schedule:
This posting is for a CASUAL Operating Room Nurse position. Shifts available would include day/evening 8-hour shift opportunities. Shift examples include: 6:40am-3:10pm and 8:30am- 5pm. Other shift opportunities may become available based on the unit's needs.

Responsibilities Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will be responsible for:
- Assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s) in accordance with all policy, procedure, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act.
- The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
- The Operating Room RN will be able to facilitate the patients in a 5 suite OR department.
- Set up, circulate and organize O.R. rooms for a multitude of Surgical Services (Gen, Ent, Gyn, Uro. Ortho,etc.) and the GI /Endoscopy unit.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of current RN OR experience
- Current Minnesota Registered Nurse License
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
