What are the responsibilities and job description for the Storekeeper-FLR position at Fairview Health Services?
Responsible for performing activities related to receiving, distribution and replenishment of equipment of equipment/supplies/forms vial scanners. Assist with maintaining inventory control levels and maintenance of product flow. Performs a variety of clerical and related duties such as filing packing slips and other order slips. Responsible for metering, sorting and distribution of incoming and outgoing US Mail and Inter-Office Mail. Serves as postal operation subject matter expert for Fairview Lakes.
Receive, deliver, replenish, clean and maintain supplies/equipment/linen/forms including: stat room, patient rooms, inventory locations, and other areas, as appropriate.
Assist with maintaining adequate inventory levels of equipment and supplies.
- Assemble, apply/remove, and accurately tag/transmit, and log into computer.
- Understanding of inventory control concepts with the ability to calculate par levels and adjust levels as vital.
- Assure that excess inventory in totes is accounted for, detailed, and accurately routed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- 1 year or less comparable materials or related experience
- Can bend, reach, stand and lift a maximum of 75 pounds.
- Excellent customer service, good communication skills with follow through and be able to prioritize
- Be able to operate a computer for supply requests, equipment requests, equipment tracking, and efficiency reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Nursing or related field
- 1 year health care related experience, extensive knowledge of medical hardware/software, medical supplies through formal education channels. License/Certification/Registration
