Position Description
The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide high-quality patient care by administering complex cardio-pulmonary care treatments according to physicians' verbal or written orders. The ideal candidate will have ~5 years current RRT experience, ability to cross train in the Cardio side of department, and Meditech Expanse experience. Additionally, the traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
Responsibilities and Requirements
This position requires:
Administering cardio-pulmonary care treatments to patients according to physicians' orders
Conducting diagnostic testing and procedures (e.g., EKG, Stress tests, Holter Monitors, Event Monitors, EEGs)
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress
Having ~5 years current RRT experience
Being able to cross train in the Cardio side of department (e.g., EKG, Stress tests, Holter Monitors, Event Monitors, EEGs)
Having Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
Having a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from assignments
