Fairview Park Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking compassionate Medication Technicians/Caregivers/Univeral Workers to join our team and have the following openings.
- 2nd shift Full Time 3p-11p
Not required to be a certified med-tech- WILL TRAIN ON SITE!
The ideal candidates will posses the ability to perform the following essential functions of the position:
- Administering or assisting with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by a health care provider. Exhibits understanding of and follow medication policies and procedures.
- Assists residents by providing direct care following the individualized care plan. This includes assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing grooming, toileting, etc.
- Assists with maintaining the physical, social and psychological environment conducive to the best interest and welfare of the residents.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transfers. Encourages residents to socialize and participate in planned activities and programs. Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for the residents. Follows proper procedures in emergency situations and responds promptly and positively to resident’s requests. Occasionally requires assistance to serve meals and complete laundry.
- All staff are required to maintain residents’ records daily in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and procedures. It is required to be a “universal” worker which means to pass medications and provide care.
