The Fairview Park Schools has an opening for a Full-Time Early Childhood Intervention Specialist for the 2025-2026 school year.Open Until Filled
CERTIFICATION/CREDENTIALS:
Valid ODE Teacher Certification/Licensure in Early Childhood Intervention Specialist PK-3.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current/Valid ODE Teacher Certificate/License in area of assignment
Able to use current technology, including computers
Interest in professional growth and development
Knowledge of Ohio Academic Content Standards
Able to cooperate and communicate well with others
Competent in curriculum building and program improvement in content, methods, and materials
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop creative/innovative intervention strategies to remediate student needs
Collaborate and support to maintain consistency with student interventions
Provide instruction as indicated by individual student IEP (Individual Education Program)
Develop IEPs on an annual basis following federal and state guidelines
Knowledge of ODE Standards and Model Courses of Study
Provide a safe environment for students which is conducive to learning
Keep necessary records and make reports as required by Principal, Superintendent, Board of Education and State Department of Education
Contribute to curriculum building and program improvement in content, methods, and materials
RATE OF PAY
Proper placement per the negotiated agreement
