Fairview Range is hiring a Medical Imaging Assistant for our Diagnostic Imaging Department in Hibbing, MN.
As a Medical Imaging Assistant, you are responsible for providing diagnostic imaging support for patients with the knowledge and ability to collect information, assess, and intervene as appropriate in the care of patients. Coordinates and works with the other members of the patient care team by performing a wide range of administrative and clinical functions. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, insurance verification, rooming patients, taking vitals and health history, documenting in an electronic medical record, assisting technologists and RNs, and other duties as assigned.
Schedule: This position will work 40 to 71 hours per two weeks. The shift length will be 8-hours on the Day and Evening shift. Weekends: As needed.

As a Medical Imaging Assistant, you are responsible for:
- Preparing patients for exam and explains to the patient in laymen everyday terms.
- Documenting patient history, information, and encounters.
- Documenting orders accurately in accordance with RRHS's policies and procedures.
- Acquiring health history from the patient.
- Sanitizing medical supplies and disposing of materials that have been used.
- Cleaning and stocking of supplies for the exam rooms.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Medical Assisting, Nursing Assistant, or assistant in Imaging.
- Completion of CMA or CNA training program.
