As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you are responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care within the scope of practice under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
Schedule: This position will be working 72-80 hours per two weeks. The shift length is flexible - 8 or 10 hours on the day shift, with no weekends. This is a temporary position expected to last through May 2025.

Fairview Range Rehabilitation Services provides comprehensive adult and pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapy services as well as adult cardiac and pulmonary rehab. Physical therapy services include specialty programs, such as vestibular rehab, sports medicine/strength and conditioning, orthopedics, TMD, men’s and women’s pelvic health/incontinence, cancer rehab, lymph-edema therapy, neuro rehab, chronic pain, dry needling, blood flow restriction therapy, tool-assisted and myofascial release, pediatric rehab and plagiocephaly and torticollis treatment including cranial scanning. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Partnering with the patient and family to provide skilled intervention.
- Implementing plan of care established by supervising physical therapist.
- Communicating with supervising physical therapist regarding recommendations for revision or update of plan of care and/or discharges.
- Providing appropriate education to patient and/or caregivers.
- Completing documentation in a timely manner per department standards.
- Prioritizing task and patient care for effective time management.
Required Qualifications:
- Physical Therapy Assistant registration/licensure in the state of Minnesota, or temporary MN licensure.
- None to 1 year experience.
- Associate's degree in physical therapy.
- BLS
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience.
