Fairview Search Group, LLC is seeking a SENIOR ACCOUNTANT for a company headquartered centrally in the Charlotte area.
This role will report to the Corporate Controller of the organization and will manage multiple locations from an accounting oversight standpoint, have exposure in both operational and corporate accounting, and also support operational managers in their roles.
This is a hybrid role with a great team (3 days in office), good salary/bonus and benefit package, and a very strong work/life balance. CPA with prior experience in public accounting and private industry is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for meeting deadlines for monthly closing and reporting schedule
- Work in production of complete, accurate, and timely financial records to support financial reporting
- Provide comprehensive financial analysis and commentary for divisions or corporate areas and explanation of financial results, business drivers, and variances. Serve as business partner to operations management
- Support development of financial budgets for divisions and corporate areas reflecting business drivers and changing economic conditions
- Perform accounting, analysis, and associated reconciliations for respective business units
- Ensure timely, accurate production and follow up of customer invoices and timely, accurate processing of supplier invoices
- Lead consolidations and reporting of financial results to management teams
- Lead assigned projects/initiatives to timely and successful completion. Provide progress updates to team and management.
Experience/ Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 4-7 years of progressive experience
- Advanced understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Advanced experience in financial analysis
- CPA and exposure in both public accounting and private industry preferred
