Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related engineering field; MBA preferred
Experience: 15 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, and logistics management. Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role
Languages: English
Traits: Detailed understanding of marine operations and related supply chains. Proven expertise in strategic sourcing and process management with a focus on service fulfillment. Expert-level contract negotiation skills and extensive experience in contract management. Demonstrated success in streamlining purchasing processes and driving cost reductions. Strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Experience reporting directly to senior executives, including CEOs. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that deliver measurable results

This role will oversee all aspects of procurement, vendor management, and logistics operations, with a focus on optimizing supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing service delivery.

- Develop and execute strategic procurement initiatives to optimize costs, improve vendor performance, and ensure consistent quality of goods and services
- Lead and manage all aspects of marine-related supply chain operations, ensuring seamless logistics and timely delivery
- Direct the development and implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices
- Oversee the RFP process, contract negotiations, and ongoing contract management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers
- Lead material resource planning efforts to ensure optimal inventory levels and supply chain resilience
- Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior executives, including the CEO
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement and logistics team
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all procurement and logistics functions
