Job Description: Assistant Landscape Operations Manager - Plymouth for an established landscape and snow removal company in business for over 35 years

Reports to: Operations Manager - Plymouth

Salary: Competitive, based on qualifications

Job Location: Plymouth, MA

Number of Employees Supervised: Multiple field crews in the absence of Operations Manager and/or as directed by Operations Manager.

Required Education: High School graduate and/or work experience equivalent

Required Experience:

· Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, both verbal and written

· Landscaping experience a MUST! 2 years

· Experience with software programs and eager and able to learn new programs. Candidates with Service Auto Pilot experience will be strongly considered for the position.

· Customer service experience 1-2 years

· Proven ability to communicate succinctly in both written word and verbally

· Computer/App literacy and able to train others for same as circumstances require

Required License or Certification:

· Valid Driver’s License

Summary of Position: We are seeking an organized and responsible Assistant Operations Manager - Plymouth to provide managerial support for operations including effectively managing all aspects of Service Auto Pilot, a software program which ensures field crews are scheduled appropriately so that assigned work requirements are met, quality control standards are kept, high levels of service-to-customer relations are delivered, budget standards are met, and that personnel, equipment and materials are fully utilized.

This individual will schedule and monitor jobs for Plymouth Division in conjunction with the Operations manager. They will train all field techs and respond to questions/concerns of field crews assigned the work, and support the accounting office by monitoring all work performed by Plymouth Division is correctly tracked within Service Auto Pilot to generate accurate invoicing. The Assistant Operations Manager will assist the Operations/Account Manager in the execution of proposals and conversion of leads to sales, and respond to client and other departments’ inquires.

Major Activities:

· Trains, monitors and oversees Service Auto Pilot and other work documentation to work teams so that services are performed as sold.

· Work performed is recorded accurately within Service Auto Pilot and other supporting managerial platforms.

· Performance to budget is monitored daily.

· Schedules work teams within Service Auto Pilot to maintain efficient production and assists the Operations Manager-Plymouth to achieve overall performance on time and within budget.

· Coordinates with and supports the Client Relations Manager with phone and email inquiries as they relate to proposals, work to be performed, or performed to ensure a positive experience for Fairway’s clients.

· Provides technical information for inquiring customers, and potential customers, and provides such information to the field personnel.

· Assists the Operations Manager-Plymouth in the development of proposals to sell enhancement work to customer base, and assists with pricing of plant and other landscape materials as requested by Operations Manager-Plymouth.

· Assists the Operations Manager-Plymouth in the development and training of field personnel.

· Maintains a high level of good housekeeping in the field, vehicles, and customer and other work areas.

· Assists the Operations Manager- Plymouth in periodic inspections of work sites and client meetings to ensure that work is performed to prescribed standards of quality at the direction of the Operations Manager-Plymouth.

· Oversees Snow and Landscape Portal ticket submissions and resolutions.

· Is alert to and makes recommendations to improve work methods and standards and stays up-to-date on new best landscape practices and products in the industry.

· Cooperates with all line and staff personnel so that schedules and programs may be executed as planned.

· Assists the Office Manager with on-boarding of new employee documentation for the Plymouth Division to support the Accounting/Human Resource office.

· Assists in expanding and enforcing Safety Protocols for security and personnel. Reinforces a safe working environment.

· Fosters a spirit of cooperation.
