Job Title: Equipment Mechanic – Skid Steers, Lawn Mowers, Small Engines

About Us:

Fairway Landscaping is a leader and provider of landscape maintenance and snow services. We

rely on a wide range of specialized equipment, from skid steers to lawn mowers and two-cycle

engines, to keep our operations running. We are looking for a highly skilled Equipment

Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet.

Responsibilities:

·      Service, diagnose, source parts and make repairs to skid steers, plowing equipment,

            sanders, zero-turn mowers, small engines (2-stroke 4-stroke), and trailers.

·      Perform routine maintenance, including blade sharpening, belt replacements, and

            hydraulic lines repairs.

·      Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and fuel systems on various landscaping

            equipment.

·      Ensure all equipment is in top working condition to prevent downtime.

·      Weld and fabricate minor repairs as needed.

·      Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

·      Work with the operations managers to schedule maintenance and track repair needs.

Requirements:

·      3 years of experience servicing skid steers, lawn mowers, small engines, and trailers.

·      Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues.

·      Ability to use diagnostic tools to identify engine and system problems.

·      Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.

·      Must have own tools (specialized tools provided).

·      Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

·      Valid driver’s license.
