Fairway Lawns of Springdale is hiring a Lawn Care Field Technician to diagnose and resolve a variety of turf, weed, and shrub problems to beautify our customers’ property. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for helping customers, understands the importance of using environmentally responsible lawn care treatments, and wants to expand their knowledge in our industry.
Location: 833 Jerome Dr, Springdale AR 72762
This is an hourly position, $17.50 to $20 paid weekly. Additional income can be earned with overtime, monthly production, sales commission and customer retention bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate professionally and courteously one-on-one with customers
- Analyze and treat lawns and landscapes with fertilizers, weed control agents, insect control agents, and perform other beneficial lawn, landscape and soil treatments.
- Assist with general landscaping tasks.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure properties are clean and well-maintained after each job.
- Experience in landscaping or lawn care is a plus but not required — training provided!
- Proven ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work Saturday hours on an as-needed basis to meet production goals.
- Able to operate a variety of equipment: tank & backpack sprayers, push spreaders, motorized riding sprayer, and aerating machines.
- Physically fit and capable of performing laborer duties, such as lifting to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
