As a member of the Commissioning and Start up team in the PIKKA project, this position is accountable for leading all the piping air blows, cleaning flushes, and leak testing activities at the Pikka project Site in the North Slope of Alaska.
SUPPORT AND SUPERVISE:
- Work in conjunction with the company contractors in the development and checking of all procedures related to pipe cleaning and leak testing activities for the Pikka facilities.
- Work with the Company CSU Leads and CSU Contractors on the day-to-day planning and execution of piping systems’ cleaning and leak testing activities.
- Supervise the piping systems’ cleaning and testing activities at the work fronts to ensure they are executed within the highest Safety and Environmental Standards in alignment with policies and procedures.
- The position will be rotational and based on the company facilities in the North Slope of Alaska. It is envisioned that temporarily, during the January-March 2025 time frame and while procedures are developed, the position will be based in Anchorage working from the company office, with occasional short-duration trips to Site for field verifications.
- Provide leadership in developing a project site culture that exemplifies Teamwork and a One Team culture where everyone working on the site enjoys their work and contributes to the successful delivery of the project
- Provides Leadership in the CSU day-to-day effort for pipe cleaning and testing activities.
- Actively participate in the safely planning of CSU activities across the Pikka site.
- Actively coordinate with the Construction team the interfaces between pipe cleaning and ongoing construction activities to ensure visibility and awareness from the workforce of the associated risks and mitigations around pipe cleaning and testing activities.
- Provide leadership towards the goal of ZERO - Incidents, accidents, and Injuries.
- Provide support in the development and implementation of the project handover plan to Operations which encompasses mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning and final documentation/startup support as required.
