FAIRWINDS Credit Union is searching for an experienced, innovative leader as our next Vice President of Consumer Lending. This role oversees and directs all major functions of the credit union’s consumer loan portfolio, with a focus on driving revenue growth, ensuring strong asset quality, and implementing innovative product design and pricing strategies. This position is located in Orlando, FL and will be on-site. Compensation begins at $100,000 and is based on experience.
What will I be doing in this role?
- Oversee the strategic direction and operational management of the Consumer Lending departments, including Consumer Lending Operations, Dealer Services, and Insurance Services.
- Drive revenue by expanding consumer loan disbursements, optimizing interest income, increasing non-interest income, and maintaining strong asset quality to ensure sustainable growth and portfolio health.
- Coordinate the development, delivery, and promotion of consumer loan products across all member channels, including branch networks, digital platforms, and call center.
- Collaborate with Senior Management and ALCO to provide data-driven product and pricing recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to design and execute effective campaigns that drive loan volume and member engagement, while continuously evaluating their performance to ensure measurable results in loan activity and revenue growth.
- Ensures compliance of all consumer loans in accordance with FAIRWINDS’ established policy and procedure guidelines as well as: NCUA rules and regulations, and to various Federal and State laws.
