We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School/High School ScienceTeacher to join our team. As a Middle School/High School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students develop their academic and personal skills while teaching from a Christian worldview.
```Responsibilities```
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote a Christian worldview
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback on assignments and exams
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Utilize instructional technology to enhance student learning experiences
- Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal development
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices
```Skills```
- Strong knowledge of cell biology, math, biochemistry, research laboratory, instructional design, education administration, proofreading, classroom management, and research methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students on an individual level
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools for instruction and assessment
