Summary: The AV Director assists the Global Worship Director and Campus Pastors in cultivating a life giving, passionate, and distraction free environment where people experience the presence of God at Faith Church.com through the spiritual and musical leadership of Staff and Dream Team. This position will oversee the Production Team.
This position requires its primary duty of performing work that requires invention, imagination, originality or talent in a recognized field of artistic or creative endeavor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate audio for services, conferences, and main events.
- Mobilize and train Audio staff and Dream Team members.
- Manage and maintain an Audio budget.
- Identify and develop new Audio staff and Dream Team members.
- Manage projects on new audio installs and upgrades.
- Regularly evaluate systems and initiate improvements and best practices when appropriate.
- Interact and coordinate Audio vendors and subcontractors.
- Set direction for audio systems maintenance and repairs.
- Available to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Ability to work in a high profile and high-stress environment.
- Willing and stamina to periodically carry a heavy workload.
- Periodic travel to and from off site campuses and event locations.
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Personal initiative and resourcefulness; ability to act and resolve needs independently.
- Able to deliver excellence with limited management direction.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage Production staff, projects, tasks, and prioritize workloads.

- Available during non-business hours for emergency work.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment (routinely uses standard office equipment and high tech equipment and lighting).
Physical Demands
Office time is mostly a sedentary role (stationary at desk and working on a computer). During events, must have the ability to lift up to 15 pounds, stay in a prolonged stationary position for long periods of time, and have the ability to operate equipment (ie lifting, bending, moving, etc).
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
The weekly schedule will include 40-45 hours per week and will be the same every week. In addition to your regular weekly hours you will be asked to participate in events that will occasionally include evening or weekend hours, as there are continual seasons where it will be necessary to exceed these minimum hours (i.e., Christmas, Easter, Strategic Planning, are just some examples and do not encompass all of the extended hours opportunities). These hours can/will fluctuate.
Sunday: Varies based off assigned campus
Monday: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Tuesday: 9:00AM – 9:00PM
Wednesday: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Thursday: Off
Friday: Off
Saturday: 2:00pm – 8:30pm
Travel
Campus to campus local travel and occasional overnight trips will be expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- Level of experience: Advanced (applied theory)
- 1 year in Church Ministry
- High School diploma
Preferred Education and Experience
- Audio certification
- Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree
