What are the responsibilities and job description for the AV Production Assistant position at FAITH Church?
Position Summary: The Audio Video Production Assistant works directly with the Audio Video Production Manager to support the technical needs of FAITH Church, FAITH Christian Academy, and the Sonshine Center. The AV Assistant works to ensure the smooth operation of a variety of technical equipment at events and gatherings at multiple campuses.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain AV equipment at all campuses.
- Set-up and tear-down AV equipment for a variety of events and gatherings.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Operate sound, video, and lighting for events and gatherings.
- Communicate status updates and system training necessary to Ministry Leaders.
- Track and maintain inventory of AV equipment.
- Assist Production Manager on AV related projects as needed.
- Assist in the creation of training materials for volunteers and interns.
- Assist in onboarding, training, and managing volunteers and interns.
- Maintain working knowledge of all technical systems.
- Attend and participate in weekend worship and other worship services as needed.
- Collaborate with Creative Team on stage and lighting design.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- Must attend FAITH as church home.
- Two or more years of AV industry experience.
- Experience with FOH (front of house) audio mixing and monitor audio mixing.
- Experience with lighting consoles such as GrandMA, Gio, and LightKey
- Experience with basic camera setup and usage.
- Experience with video switchers, livestreaming, and video signal chain troubleshooting.
- Proficient in ProPresenter.
- Proficient with complex Audio I/O routing such as Dante and various audio consoles.
- Knowledge of current standards and codes for AV safety and efficiency.
- Able to lift up to 60lbs, climb ladders, and stand for long periods of time.
- Maintain flexible schedule with evening, weekend, and on-call availability.
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, and team player.

Pay: $19.25 per hour
