Employer Engagement Officer

Faith Foundation Resources is a community-focused organization dedicated to empowering individuals and families through education, resources, and support. We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team in Flint, Michigan. This role will focus on building partnerships, expanding our reach, and driving growth to further our mission.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement business development strategies to expand Faith Foundation Resources' employer partners.

· Identify and establish relationships with potential partners, and community organizations.

· Research and pursue grant opportunities to secure funding for programs and initiatives.

· Represent the organization at community events, networking opportunities, and meetings to promote our mission.

· Monitor industry trends and identify new opportunities for growth.

· Maintain a database of contacts, partnerships, and outreach activities.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Proven experience in business development, or a similar role (nonprofit experience preferred but not required).

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.

· Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilities.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.

· Knowledge of the Flint community and its needs is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills

· Experience in grant writing and fundraising campaigns.

· Familiarity with nonprofit operations and resource development strategies.

· Creative problem-solving skills to identify innovative growth opportunities.

· Competitive salary: $12 - $16 per hour
