Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Biology Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will create engaging lesson plans, conduct lab experiments and facilitate critical thinking and scientific inquiry. The HS Biology teacher also fosters curiosity about the natural world and prepares students for further scientific study or careers in STEM fields, with an emphasis in Biology. This position is responsible for 4 Honors Biology classes and 2 Biology classes and reports directly to the HS Principal.

• Ministers and prays with others; communicates the love of Jesus to further the mission of the School. Attend, participate, and lead faculty devotions and Chapel on a rotating basis
• Approachable, with an appropriate balance of high expectations, patience, and mentorship
• A team-player who is willing to listen to the ideas, concerns, and solutions of others
• Knowledgeable and competent in areas of safe school culture necessary to support school’s mission
