Faith Lutheran Preschool and Childcare
Pay Range: Depending on education and experience.
The teacher's assistant is responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in operating the center in a manner that contributes to the growth and development of children.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Graduate from High School
2. Current or willing to obtain infant, child and adult CPR and first aid training.
3. Be at least 18 years of age.
4. Physical ability to lift and transfer children (minimum 25 lbs) and ability to participate in handling and floor activities with children.
5. Must relate well with children, be flexible and adaptive to the center's needs.
6.Teachers Assistant must complete 24 hours of traning yearly.R 400.8131 in the State of Michigan Licensing Rules for Childcare Centers.
7. Complete blood-borne pathogen training.
8. Caregivers of infants and toddlers must complete training on Shaken Baby Syndrome and Infant Safe Sleep.
9. submit to fingerprinting
10. Submit to a physical and negative TB test within 30 days of start date.
