A client in Acworth, GA, is seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide assistance for a male client receiving hospice care. This role primarily involves light housekeeping, meal assistance, and repositioning to ensure the client's comfort. The home has a free-roaming dog and cat, but no pet care is required.
Client Information:
- Male client with Leigh’s Disease (unable to talk, walk, or perform tasks independently)
- Total care client (weighs approximately 140 lbs.)
- No lifting required – repositioning only (bathing is handled by another caregiver 3x per week)
- Medical equipment includes a hospital bed, shower chair, and feeding pump
- Medication assistance is not required – the aide will simply place medication near the client as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Light housekeeping (client’s bedroom & bathroom – trash removal, organization)
- Placing medication near the client (no direct administration required)
- Feeding assistance (using a feeding pump as needed)
- Repositioning (ensuring client comfort and preventing pressure sores)
- Monitoring and reporting any health changes to the family
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving experience (preferred but not required)
- Comfortable in a home with pets (no pet care duties)
- Reliable transportation to and from the client’s home
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail
- Ability to pass a background check
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 3 PM
- Job Requirements
- Must have CPR/FA conducted with an instructor (No online accepted)

- Must be able to pass a background check
