We are seeking a compassionate caregiver for a 14-year-old female client in Suwanee, GA. She has 2p Partial Trisomy Syndrome, autism, and epilepsy and requires full assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Medical & Functional Overview:
- Conditions: 2p Partial Trisomy Syndrome, autism, epilepsy
- Communication: Nonverbal, uses an AAC device
- Continence: Incontinent, requires assistance with toileting
- Diet & Medication: Eats a regular diet and takes medications by mouth
- Mobility: Ambulates independently and is physically strong
Care Needs & Preferences:
✔ Daily Living Support: Full assistance with ADLs, including hygiene and toileting
✔ Behavioral Considerations: Exhibits some behaviors (see progress notes for details)
✔ Social & Recreational Interests:
- Enjoys music, dancing, staying active, and using her iPad
- Very friendly and affectionate, enjoys hugs and kisses
- Prefers male caregivers and is known as a "Daddy's Girl"
This role is ideal for a caregiver who is patient, engaging, and comfortable working with nonverbal individuals with behavioral and sensory needs.
Schedule
Weekdays 4pm-8pm but schedule can be tailored for the right candidate.
