Key Responsibilities:
- Implement lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher, ensuring alignment with the Abeka curriculum and faith-based principles.
- Maintain an orderly and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and spiritual growth.
- Foster a positive, Christ-centered atmosphere by modeling Christian values and behaviors.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students while maintaining consistency with the teacher's expectations.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members and administration to support the overall mission of the school.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents as needed to ensure continuity in learning.
- Uphold and promote the school’s faith-based values in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a college degree in education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably using the Abeka curriculum.
