Summary:
Performs a variety of accounting tasks for the Finance department. Performs routine Accounts Payable duties such as accurately entering invoices, routing invoices for proper departmental approval, cutting weekly AP checks, and reconciliation of vendor statements. Performs and prepares financial information and routine reconciliation duties to ensure that general ledger accounts are properly reconciled to support files.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial information for Faith Regional Health Services (including but not limited to):
- Record daily deposits
- Analyze monthly transactions and reconcile all accounts on a monthly basis
- Examine invoices for proper coding
- Prepare necessary supporting schedules for the monthly financial statements
- Assist in monthly financial statement preparation
- Assist in annual budget preparation
- Prepare financial information for annual tax return
- Prepare quarterly payroll and use tax reports
- Prepare, track and amortize prepaids
- Responsible for FRHS accrual schedule
- Reconcile bank statements
- Record inter-department charges
- Record and reconcile intercompany accounts
- Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns
- Perform daily FRHS bank and cash reconciliation
- Prepare monthly investment performance worksheet
2. Record, maintain and track assets using fixed asset software system (including but not limited to):
- Compile capital asset request forms; assign requisition numbers
- Prepare and record monthly depreciation entry
3. Prepare daily monitoring reporting primary statistics
4. Compile monthly worksheet reporting department and facility-wide statistics
5. Initiates bond payments
6. Reconciles bank accounts for STNH
7. Process A/P checks weekly
8. Uploads P-card charges monthly
9. Prepare and dispatch Tenant billings – includes NENSC
10. Prepare and dispatch Physicians and clinic billings
11. Prepare and dispatch Affiliates billings
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial information for Lutheran Board
- Prepare and file annual unclaimed property report
14. Prepare supporting schedules and work papers for External Auditors.
15. Assists with hospital wide inventory process.
16. Strives to represent Faith Regional Health Services and the department in a positive manner.
Hours will be dependent on patient census and workload. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, to include after-hours and weekends as necessary.

EDUCATION:
GED or High School Diploma preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
EDUCATION FIELD OF STUDY:
Finance, Accounting, or Business-related field required.
Previous Experience Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
Healthcare experience preferred.

SKILLS:
Language Skills – Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.
