Job Description is as follows:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Executive Director and Program Manager, the Project Coordinator will assist in multiple aspects of agency operations to strengthen the agency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but is not limited to the following:
VOLONTEER COORDINATION & DONOR RELATIONS
· Identify and communicate with volunteers and donors
· Coordinate multiple volunteer tasks and oversee the apartment preparations for transitional housing families
· Receive, organize and assist in donation utilization
· Track and monitor all aspects of volunteer and donation related activities, take photos and assist in completing thank you cards and letters
CLIENT RELATED SERVICES
· Work directly with prospective clients during walk-in hours to help triage their needs and assist them in locating emergency supports
§ Set up weekly client classes and manage client calendars
§ Recruit and monitor expenditures for paid teachers/partners
§ Maintain a record of classes with name of teacher/topic/attendees
§ Occasionally lead classes and workshops
§ Obtain client feedback regarding classes and other program components
· fundraising, collect donations, and organize client events (Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, Veterans Day, House Meetings, etc.)
· on local or applicable resources for outside referrals that could benefit clients. Ensure that the case management team knows how to properly refer in.
OUTREACH/MARKETING
· Utilize effective outreach procedures to run booths, give presentations or speeches for various purposes
· : Identify and plan effective fundraisers. Assist in planning and executing established fundraising projects
· Attend and/or ensure staff are attending marketing events including Greeters. Utilize opportunities to get Faith Works name out there
· Assist in creating agency newsletters and other public facing communications
DATA TRACKING AND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
· Complete or monitor agency/grant documentation to ensure timely and accurate data is available and provided when needed.
· Assist in Coordinated Entry utilization and the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and enter data for unlicensed staff
o Add current residents in All resident’s spreadsheet & update contact information as needed
o Attempt to obtain follow up information on former clients
· Participates in the preparation, verification, and documentation for various reports and grant applications
· Assists in maintaining the required data and documentation for contracts and grants
· Reviews and analyzes program demographic and service data and provides data support for program evaluation processes
· Develops data collection procedures and forms, survey methodology
· Creates internal and external correspondence, presentations and other materials needed for programmatic promotion or expansion
PREFERRED
Knowledge of/experience in:
· Facilitating classes
· Short- and long-term client systems
· Conflict Resolution
· Behavioral science and general social work practices
· Documentation Procedures
· Community resources to meet the social, material and physical needs of low-income clients
· Challenges specific to the culture of poverty and homelessness
REQUIRED
Knowledge of/experience in:
· Principles and practices of database utilization and Excel
· Computer utilization including the Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to:
· Work comfortably in a faith-based environment
· Work with minimum supervision
· Work directly with clients, volunteers, and service providers
· Monitor and evaluate program progress and/or effectiveness
· Coordinate simultaneous activities in an efficient manner
· Ability to refrain from judgments and action based on personal biases
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
