Pay Rate: $19.63-$25.35 per hour (DOE)
(This rate is a blended rate and includes overtime)
After 9 months EMTs can apply to be Field Training Officers (based on availability).
It is very important that candidates are available for the first 3 weeks of Orientation (21 days) where 2 weeks will be in a classroom setting in our Head Office in the city of Orange in Orange County and the third week will be for field training.
The classroom Orientation will be Monday to Friday for the 2 weeks from 9am-6pm the first day and 8am-6pm the remaining days.
It is also very important to be able to commit 6 months to the company.

Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of the EMT is to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, provides basic life support (BLS) as needed, and transports sick or injured persons to the appropriate medical facility.
Because Falck EMTs are frequently called to serve individuals in vulnerable situations, Falck reviews conviction history reports for applicants, in accordance with California and local law. Qualified applicants with conviction history are encouraged to apply and will be evaluated pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act and the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance. However, certain conviction histories may have a negative and adverse relationship with certain EMT job duties relating to providing basic life support, direct care, and transportation.

Qualifications:
To apply the individual in this position must posses the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Current National Registry Certification (EMT Grey Card)
- Current American Heart Association CPR for the Healthcare Provider card
- Current California driver’s license.
