In addition, this position would require generating test reports and data summaries and maintaining a work-in-progress inventory. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain the Falcomm RF test lab
- Perform characterization of device performance
- Design test fixtures and circuit boards
- Analyze test data and prepare characterization report
- Develop Test Data Processing Scripts
- Validate Setups by Comparing setup performance to a standard
- Maintain calibrated test stations (including backups) to minimize down time
- College degree in electrical engineering (BSEE or MSEE) or related field
- 2 years of experience in RF/mmWave test and characterization of compound semiconductors and/or silicon integrated circuits. Frequency ranges between 1 and 100 GHz are part of test portfolio
- Understanding of RF theory and standard test practices.
- Hands-on experience with operation and/or programming of on-wafer test equipment such as semiconductor analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, power meters, and spectrum analyzers.
- Demonstrated ability to test and characterize
- RF/mmWave Power Amplifiers based on CMOS, SOI, and compound semiconductor
- RF/mmWave TX and RX integrated circuits
- RF/mmWave TX and RX blocks
- Understanding of calibration and measurement uncertainty
- Experience with python programming and/or automation methods
- Experience with statistical analysis methods
- Experience with built-in self-test methods
- Experience with transistor modeling is beneficial
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot design issues.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Must be willing to work on-site full-time at our office in Atlanta, GA.
