In this role, you'll be the driving force behind the seamless deployment and maintenance of applications in AWS and other cloud environments, ensuring our clients' systems operate at peak efficiency.
Responsibilities :
Leverage your technical prowess to support the installation, operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of applications on Linux VMs, including AWS.
Implement robust security measures, including STIGs, OS patches, and comprehensive documentation, safeguarding our clients' data and infrastructure.
Thrive in a dynamic, cloud-based environment, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting containers in OpenShift and Gitlab.
Requirements :
Proficient in Linux / Unix and experienced in troubleshooting applications running on Linux OS.
Adept at information security, with a strong understanding of STIGs, IAVAMs, and security documentation.
Proven track record of maintaining production systems for external customers in cloud-based environments such as AWS.
Skilled in deploying and managing applications in AWS and other cloud platforms.
Experienced in working with CI / CD pipelines, containerization technologies, and pipeline automation toolsets.
Preferred Qualifications :
Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or a related field, coupled with 3 years of experience as a DevOps / Cloud / Software engineer.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of RHEL-based systems and experience with installing, configuring, and administering containers.
Proficient in technologies such as Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, PostgreSQL, Alfresco, or MongoDB, and experienced in configuring monitoring with CloudWatch.
