Small animal veterinarian is invited to apply for a full-time position in Clear Lake area of Houston, TX.

We value and enjoy time with our families and friends as much as we enjoy practicing high quality veterinary medicine. There are no on-call shifts, 3-day weekends are scheduled monthly for all our full-time employees, and we encourage taking time off to rest and recharge.
You will be joining a close-knit team comprised of 3 doctors and 10 support staff, including 1 LVT. The hospital is 100 % privately owned. We employ a complete in-house IDEXX laboratory suite, Dental digital radiology, integrated DR radiology, ultrasound imaging, state-of-the-art anesthetic monitoring, high-end surgical and dental instruments, multiple computer stations with the dedicated fiber-optic internet, and cloud-based electronic medical records. AAHA certification is scheduled to be achieved in July 2025.
The location of the hospital allows for easy access to everything Gulf shores and the vibrant city of Houston have to offer to people of all ages, including a superb school system.
Compensation for a full-time position includes the top percentile salary, production bonus, ample time off, 6 paid US holidays, retirement plan with 3% match, health and dental insurance plan, CE allowance, discounted veterinary care for personal pets, paid VIN membership, paid AVMA, TVMA, and local VMA dues, Texas veterinary license dues, DEA dues. Total compensation well exceeds $150,000 for a qualified candidate.
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and great bedside manners, possess the desire to learn and educate, is compassionate, respectful, and a team player. Surgical and dental interest is a plus. Close mentorship will be provided to a new graduate.
