Job Opportunity : Data Warehouse Architect 5 Local Candidates Only
White Lotus Talent Partner is actively seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Architect 5 to support the State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) . This role requires expertise in Teradata, SQL, shell scripting, and Linux to support complex data warehouse structures and security models.
Position Details :
Location : Lansing, MI (Hybrid - Onsite 2 days per week required)
Duration : 1 Year (with possible extension)
Interview Process : Virtual interviews; second round may be onsite in Lansing, MI
Top Skills & Experience Required :
12 years of Teradata experience
10 years of SQL experience
10 years of shell scripting experience
5 years of Linux experience
Experience supporting State of Michigan MDHHS Data Warehouses or another State of Michigan Agency Data Warehouse
Proven ability to work independently within a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities :
Manage Linux security models and authorize user access.
Oversee Teradata security and access.
Maintain Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler for accurate data availability.
Handle Data Warehouse change management and code promotions.
Migrate multiple MDHHS Data Warehouses to Common Processes.
Ensure adherence to State of Michigan policies and procedures .
Conduct elevated access and user audits.
Mitigate audit findings and provide input to SSPs.
Perform Data Warehouse Continuity Planning and testing.
Provide support for escalated Data Warehouse troubleshooting and resolution.
Support data loading from multiple source systems.
Train and guide development teams to enhance batch troubleshooting and support.
Make informed decisions in alignment with State of Michigan and MDHHS / DTMB policies .
Additional Information :
Local candidates only Hiring manager is not considering relocation candidates.
No remote-only option Onsite presence in Lansing, MI (2 days per week) is required.
Security & Compliance Government-issued equipment must remain within the United States.
