Senior IT SOX Auditor

Position Summary

As part of a high-performing team, the IT Compliance Auditor conducts Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) IT compliance reviews in a fast-paced environment. This role ensures internal control activities comply with management policies, standards, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Analyze processes, assess risks, and perform SOX control testing over financial systems and IT General Controls.
Present audit findings, identify trends, and recommend improvements in IT controls and compliance processes.
Support external auditors and collaborate effectively within a global team.
Stay up to date with IT policies, standards, and industry best practices while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
Travel domestically or internationally as required.

Qualifications

5 years of recent IT auditing experience (public accounting preferred).

Strong knowledge of COBIT, COSO, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, IT risks, controls, and ITGC processes.

Familiarity with enterprise systems (IBM Z-Series, IBM i-Series, SAP, data lakes, Windows, Linux preferred).

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Education & Certifications

BA / BS or higher in MIS, Business, or Computer Science.

CISA, CISSP, or equivalent certification required.
