Part Time Remote Literacy Tutor

Remote position teaching literacy classes online to students three through eighteen.

As a Teacher, you will be instrumental in fostering a positive online learning environment and supporting the literacy development of students. You will engage students and facilitate their learning experiences. Your premium skills in curriculum development and special education will enhance your ability to cater to diverse learning needs. Additionally, your relevant skills in tutoring and standardized testing will contribute to student success. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive online learning environment for all students.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Foster effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student development.
• Support students with diverse needs, including those requiring special education services.

As a online teacher, you will teacher literacy classes in reading, writing, ESL, and other areas of English Language Arts and Reading.

You must have a stable computer and internet connections as this position is 100% remote. You have the ability to make your own hours and work as much or as little as you want.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree

Teaching License/Certificate in an state.

Three plus years experience teaching reading under a license or certification

Preferred:

Master's Degree
