Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor/Supervisor to oversee construction projects and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction management practices, and experience with project scheduling and site management. This role is essential in coordinating the efforts of various teams on the construction site while maintaining compliance with OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
- Manage a team of workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Utilize project management software such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Prolog, and others for effective project scheduling and documentation.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Oversee the use of tools such as Ohmmeters for electrical testing and ensure proper handling of all equipment.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate timely delivery of materials and services needed for project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with OSHA regulations to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Mircosoft Excel is preferred.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards on construction sites.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Experience in pipeline construction is a plus but not required.
