Industrial Painter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting and a strong understanding of materials handling and power tools. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a warehouse environment, ensuring that all painting tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
• Utilize airless paint spraying techniques to apply coatings evenly and effectively.
• Operate power tools and equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Fabricate components as needed for specific projects, demonstrating mechanical knowledge.
• Handle materials appropriately, including lifting and moving items safely within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment and report any issues promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial painting or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with auto painting techniques is a plus.
• Ability to operate cranes and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to weld when necessary.
• Experience with materials handling practices in an industrial setting.
• Proficient in using various power tools relevant to the painting process.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
